oh pooh! Well I hope she rests in long enough and doesn't rush back and re-injure it (see Anna and Monica).

Get well Nadia!

The important thing is to get completely healthy first, then come back. Better to missan extra week or two now, than battle recurring injuries all year (or beyond).

she should have listened to her coach when he told her to pull ou of her match against Farina-Elia in the Gold Coast, she carried on and won and then played with severly resricted serving and stretched Venus to 7-6 7-5.

She should have been around top 20 now but is likely to fall out of top 100 after Wimbledon.

Its not looking too good

I like her a lot. Nadia and Tatiana are my favorite Russian players. It's sad to hear she'll be out for so long:sad:

That's terrible news. The Russian girls can't catch a break. Unless it's a foot! Nadia and Lina probably thought they could be top 20 players this year. They have to be crushed. I just hope they heal properly. Then they should come back. Rushing back from an injury only makes things worse.

Get well soon, Nadia!!

She's a great player, I remember her match against Venus at the Gold Coast. It was such high level. Even Venus was doing a lot of fist-pumping coz it was so close.
