I dont know how tough it must be...even if you love the game very much...to get to every tourney above a tier 3 and know that you have no chance...These people are remarkable to do this for 15 or so years never winning a title...I dont think I could...:shrug:

Maybe yeah. But it is still a job and you gain money for it, which is essential for these players at least. So they keep on playing there, because they know it is the only way to gain more money than 3 challenger wins at a 50 k or so.

thats nothing compared to a few who spend their entire careers outside top 400
and play all year.
Now thats tough, plus you get peanuts in the hidden world

I think just being in top 100 is the target, because you can make big money at the majors...even losing 1st or 2nd round...and even as a yourney woman you can make $ 100.000 or $200.000..that´s big money.
