The Capriati/Williams dilemma is no longer a dilemma. They will both be seeded.

There is still an outside chance that Venus can get a wild card.

I hope so.

If Venus wanted a wild card, she would get it. She is Gold Exempt.

Maybe she'll even skip the YEC to rest up and come back healthy next year.

What is with Justine she must have a really low immune system she got sick Around roland garros and she is still feeling the effects i thought she was 100% again. how can she still be sick.

It's not that bad folks. From the French interview, it was more
about not being able to string good solid workouts/training and
recovery. I do believe that she's not physically fit from being
sick all these months, and lacks the stamina. This will take time,
she's not "ill". There's also the general lameness of entering a
deep draw tournament and going out in round 3. She's got lot's
of pride, and if she can't be 100% and be there to face Serena- well
it's better to wait and grow stronger.

The news that's not mentioned from the press conference is that
she said, that she'll probably add in an extra date after Zurich and
before the YEC, which would mean most likely Linz.

she will be fine, she is okay it just that she is trying to get back her fitness level that she had when she won all those grandslams. I don't think that she still had the virus, it is just that the way it may have been worded sounds as though she still has it. She needs time and like she said, she may just add an extra event to make up for this one.

We have to remember that alot of the news and interviews
are done in French, then at times translated into Flemish,
then again translated into English.

Not to be an alarmist, but something just ain't right in that camp. JHH lost in the first week of the USO and has had the two weeks off after that. Something tells me she still isn't healthy and her "illness" is more serious than she is letting the public know.

Really. I don't know what she's planning, but I heard she contacted
Donald Rumsfeld to hear about his 'surpriseattack-tactics'... so WTCH OUT!! ;)

It ain't only Serena she going to be facing. They are a whole lot of others there that could take her out in a NY Minute.

Really? Why would they want to take her out to buy
her dinner? I thought Justine is not friendship material! :haha:
