in the news they said that in the beginning she played really well and put a lot of pressure on Benesova, so that she couldn't hit to Kim's backhand too much... (but that was at 4-1 in the first set...)

i'm totally not dissapointed about Iveta's loss, i calculated this way before the match, so it didn't came really as a surprise to me that Kim would win this, i'm satisfied about the way the scoreline for Iveta is, i'm much delighted that it isn't a much worse scoreline like 6-2 6-2 or sth like that :)......

Let's not get too carried away if Kim was back back then she would have won something like 2 and 2, give her time, she just needs to play some matches for the rest of the year not worry about winning tournaments, she is playing to get match fitness back and in preparation for AO, which is the goal.

I saw the last couple of games on tv....she hit 10 aces in total :eek: (2 or three in one game, that looked really impressive :D ) and her backhand was going well at the end of the match and she hit some impressive forehandwinners to :) Many UE too, but that's normal I guess...

I noticed something about her serve.In the past she would seldomly hit a flat serve, now she had almost all her aces with flat serves.

i really love the way Kim gave her opponent credit. what a great girl!

benesova is talented, might even have top 20 potential but certainly should be a consistent top 50 player. she sometimes shows signs that she is a really good player. not sure what her future holds as she is really inconsistent but potentially she could be a pretty good player. its nice to see kim give her opponent credit, not many players give their opponent credit.
