I think that she would have a great shout at winning the title on the low bouncing grass courts up in Birmingham. Her closest opposition is likely to be Raymond and Tanasugarn on the grass which I'm sure she has a good chance with as I think grass is Anna's best surface. Also it would give the tournament a much needed bosst from the days when Navratilova was playing in it.

That would give the tourn a new spark and vastly increase sales.
Plus would give her a good chance to take the title.

Birmingham would be cool - then I could see what all the fuss is about

I mean she really should have won a tournament by now, and she could definitely win this one.

i think she should too cos if i am in a skiving kind of mood i'll skip uni for a week and go, much as i am for eastbourne.

I think Birmingham will be Lindsay come back and that she will play singles only in Birmingham, Eatsbourne and Wimbledon, so Anna will have to wait... Expect a late entry wild card or something, though

Anna was going to play Edgbaston last year singles and doubles (with Irina Selyutina) but then she got injured and didn't play.
So I think there's a chance she might be there this year.
