I just watched the loss in doubles in the USO SF.
Brad Gilbert doesn't like your forehand mechanics or your footwork.

And I can't stand when you miss those easy volleys. You're lucky Alisa is a nice girl. Another partner might have thrown you in the upper deck for missing so many easy shots.

After a close qualifying match, which she won in three sets over Kai-chen Chang, Peer lost to Russian player Ekaterina Makarova on Sunday, 6-4, 6-2. 　　The match began with an unusually long first game in which the advantage teeter-tottered back and forth between Peer and Makarova, with Peer eventually winning. That first game foreshadowed the remainder of the match. For the first set and part of the second, Peer and Makarova remained neck and neck.
　　On more than one account, Peer contested calls made on a shots called out.
