Why do some tennis players blow on their fingers :confused: :confused: :confused:

Sorry, its always something that I have wanted to know

no reason. its just a habit (at least in Dokic's case). maybe other players do it to get the moisture out.

I read in one of the Tennis magazines that this is just a habit for some, that it's a mental thing, almost like a superstition. You know how these tennis players are, we develop all kinds of weird habits to get us through a match. lol!

Yes, there is a reason. I do it all the time.

Its to get all the sweat off them, and cool them down, coz if its hot, the raquet can slip out of your hand easily, that why you see players blowing on, or wiping their hands in their sleeves or watever.
