Maggie:)

Maggie cuz she is more experienced and is a good grass-courter. On clay she was in a slupm and it was on karolinas surface and it was still relatively close. i say Maggie.

Maggie in two. Maggie is furious cuz she was so determined to revenge her loss to Venus on clay. She must be thinkin her opportunity has been stolen by that girl.

I don't know? I would love to see Sprem win because she's by far
the most interesting player at WIMBLEDON this year. She's really
fun to watch too. :)

I know what you mean...

I think Karolina has a chance, she's better than Maleeva, even on this surface. Btw, I really don't think that Sprem should be seen as a clay-court player. Not only because she's doing so well here, but because her game is suitable for all surfaces. Still, she should work a bit on her 2nd serve, but hey, you could say that for 99% of the WTAtour... :tape:

however, Maleeva is very experienced and is likely to give Karolina a hard time. If Karolina doesn't play careful Maggie might win. It's a huge chance for her as well, since she made it to the qf of a gs only once, I think. And she's not getting younger...

It's going to be an interesting match for sure. Go, Karolina!

I think better cuz she has more power, but Maleeva has better net skills and a better tactics. She can mixe it up with slices and dropshots and has a lot of touch. Very difficult to predict.

Maggie has not reached a Slam QF since the 1992 US Open  So this is as good a a chance as any to rectify that!

Hope she can get through but I wouldn't mind if Sprem won either.

Again it's not definite. If Karolina doesn't feel pressured and goes for her shots then she will definitely win this match

To whoever said Sprem is a better player, what makes her the better one of the two all of a sudden? Just because she beat Venus? Oh plz

K-Lina has much more talent than MALEEVA.

I said Karolina is a better player.
I know Maleeva had trouble in her career, and that she is very talented, for sure.
But, we're talking about present moment. The fact is that Karolina is only 1 match away from the qs of a gs, something Maggie managed only once in her long career. And IS a better player at the moment, looking at her results this year, I'd say. She should be in top 15 by the end of the USopen. Or even sooner.

Sprem will probably win in straight sets, but the only place she will go from there is home unless Lindsay loses in her 4th round match and Maria loses before the semifina.

I've always liked Maggie, but I agree that Sprem has more raw talent.
