If Martina Hingis hadn't played US Open 2002 and recovered fully. She would without question have won the French Open 2004 (without dropping a set!). And be a finalist at Wimbledon (losing to Serena in 3). She'd beat all the russians, destroy the 2 belgians and give the William sisters a run for their money. After all, martina, lindsay and jennifer are the only players who do not fear the sisters.
But what's the use knowing this... Martina's retired.
Come Back and restore tennis to it's former glory, Martina!

But don't you love Martina's commentary?
I know I do!http://wtaworld.com/ubb/smile.gif

Gosh, we can't go on speaking what ifs. Fact is, past is past, and there's nothing we can do about it. I really do miss Martina though. It was such a joy watching her play tennis. She just had this grace about her that when she played, you watched. Sigh. I'm getting sad again.

I wish she would come back. She would take the place of Venus as my favorite tennis player.

Martina is happy now... I think! And she's doing good with the horsey's :tape:
No, I loved Martina... miss her most alongside Anna playing doubles!

if Martina had waited, she'd no doubt be a top player still
