Due to mental illness, Tatiana was out for a couple of months. She always was kind of chubby, but still a lot smaller than these days. It wouldn´t surprise me if she had to take medication for her mental illness. Besides that...if you´re out for a while and don´t want to do anything with tennis at that time, you will get a bit fatter.

was out with mental illness for quite a while and I'm sure she was/is taking
medication for it. I have a sister with bi-polar disorder, and she gained a
lot of weight because of the meds she took. Hopefully Panova can get back
to her former weight. She never was what I would call skinny, but she always
was a very speedy player. Unless she trims down, one of her major playing
assets is nullified.

I was thinking a pain-au-chocolat... one of the ones with two strips of chocolate down the middle.

A lot of anti depressants can make you gain weight.

I know a kid who is 5 4, and in about a yar he went from 140 to 180 due to meds.

And also, perhaps, one might consider how kind it is to make fun of the apperance of someone who is suffering from depression?

Since she is obviously able to play pro tennis at a good level, I suspect that she is fitter than most people posting here.
