Didn't someone say that if Gagliardi beat Schnyder, he'd kill himself ? :scared: Please find the guy!! :p

Serena should be trough to the QF with few problems because Patty was to be her proposed fourth round opponent.

Nice win. A few more like that and Gagliardi has enough money to get her teeth fixed.

Who's the fool that said that? If everyone that liked Patty
attemped suicide for every match she should've won- it
would like deathX100 or something. :tape:

She's dragged our hopes into the mud again. Oh..right. Dragged
into the grass!!!!

congrats to the Gagliardi fans but this is a shocking loss for Patty. More shocking than the loss to Asagoe in Paris, bcuz Asagoe was a player who has been having solid results for quite some time. Emmanuelle is one of those players who picks up a win here, a win there, and somehow barely manages to stay on the fringes of the tour. She got a default in the first round - beating Patty is her first match win in i don't know how long.

Well, in terms of Patty. Not really. Her loses always make no sense.
:tape:

My cat FIGO had as good of a chance to beat Patty as Gagliardi
and he doesn't even have a thumb to hold a tennis racquet. :rolls:

Which reminds me. I still chuckle to myself when I think about
how she dedicated her win at that tournament in BALI to her
cat who passed away.

no Greeny, not really, for the last couple of years, Patty has been much more consistent, rarely losing to players she should beat - if you look over her results, you'll see the pattern - Patty has been strangely predictable. But this one is really out of context.

Well..she played really good grass court tennis a couple of days
ago? Did Manu raise her game today and simply outplayed Patty?

of course i didn't see the match... but i think there's NO WAY Patty could lose to Manu without playing very badly. What my guess is, and it's only a guess, is that Patty was well in command, Manu started putting up some resistance on her own serve and maybe got a bit of luck on a couple important points, managed to win the 2nd set despite not breaking serve, and then Patty folded her tents and tanked the 3rd set. At some point in that 2nd set, a couple of things probly went wrong for Patty and she couldn't keep her head together. Patty hates it when she's controlling a match, and then that control slips a little bit out of her hands.

I find this Ironic, The Gagliardi Family finances have more money in their Bank Accounts then most of what the top top 10 have in Earnings and Endoresements put together ;) So Im sure she could buy herself new teeh evrysingle day if she pleased :)

A place of female Safin is not vaccant. We have the female Safin.

yeah, Dinara is the female Safin... Patty's far more extreme than either Safin OR Safina...

does Kiefer have schizophrenic results as well? I didn't know that... I know he was supposed to be really good, but he hasn't done very much on the tour.

well done Emmanuelle :D

she's a very solid player when she's not being a headcase. it seems she's playing well, she could easily beat Golovin.

Years ago Tommy(kimmy?) and Kiefer(Justine?) were hoisted
as the greatest new duel talents of Germany. The new BORIS
said Boris. Well, mainly of Tommy. Kiefer was considered the
country bumpkin from the a wee village, while Tommy was
the slick well loved darling. I guess it didn't pan out as
planned.

Patty to me has always been more of a Rios type character.
Talented, stubborn, honest and lefties with incredible ball
skills that seemed to to happen at will w/out much practice
sessions too. Really gifted and really lazy too. And the media/press
has mistaken both of their reserved personalities to be surly rather
than quiet or shy.
