This has been one of Venus' worst performances ever at a slam   :(. Even a 16 year old Venus was a safe bet to get past the first and second round of a major...I am wondering whether or not Richard put too much pressure on Venus by pronouncing her the winner...and whether his "coaching" is helping the sisters?

Venus had so many factors working against her this tournament...bad draw, great opponent, umpire () ...so dont feel too bad about it

There's a vast chasm between coaching, and what Richard calls "coaching."

Well, when Richard said that Serena was better than Venus that didn't seem to bother her, and that was awful.
