Does anyone think its possible that Golovin could start playing for Russia? I think she should read what Nastya said after RG about Russia being a great country and feeling proud to play for it! Golvin must be convinced!

I'm sure she's fine (and proud) being French.

She's in the French Fed Cup team already. I talked with her during RG. She speaks Russian maybe even worse than I speak French, she doesn't know anything about Russia and she said that she is French. :) So no chance.

Nyet. Tatiana moved to France when she was only 8 months old so she is rightfully a French citizen. Her parents and 2 older sisters were born in Russia and they speak Russian in their house so Russia is a part of her life even if it is only the language. As far as tennis goes France needs Tatiana more than Russia does.

Friday just after press conf finished.
Zhenya Linetskaya was in the room doing her Professional Development (formerly PDP)
she said a few words to Tatiana in Russian on her way out.
i dont know if she understood it either, but Zhenya knows Tatiana well.
