You're right. People on this board definately don't give her enough credit. She is just too damn wild and when she gets excited she sprays errors everywhere.

And that is why she shall be sacrificed to Anne in the next round :devil:

no harm for Alex to play tournaments at this level, look what it has done to Marissa :).Playing low-level tournaments has done her confidence great as we saw at the French Open this year.Hopefully Alex will encounter the same effect.Although really,Alex should be winning on grass anyway against these kind of players.:o

Let's just hope it helps the both of them. They are both a LOT better than their current ranking. I think they should BOTH be top 50 at least, but are just lacking on the mental side of it all.

Hopefully this little run from Marissa inspires and helps that mental side. She was hanging in their with Davenport in the second set, which should help her as well, giving her the belief that she can hang with these girls.
