Go Tatiana and take the title, good luck Mariana and Jamea too. Mariana Correa - she qualified for the Bogota WTA event the other week, right? Didn't know she was a junior - looks promising.

Maria Jose Argeri def Jamea Jackson 6-4 7-5. I really wanted Jamea Jackson to win this title, but I can still take some solace in the fact that she made her first final in a grade A event.

I thought this was a Grade 1 Event?

SM
Mar 4th, 2002, 02:07 AM
by gradea he meant grade1!

well Jamea has nothing to be ashamed or up[set about....when the score is 6-4 7-5 usually both players played at the same level, just one handled nerves better and/or played the important points better....Jamea has shown she has the ability to win a grade 1 event now, and should have a good future, hopefully top 100 within the next few years :) on the wta circuit

keep the form going Ms.Jackson

Tatiana  :( lost in semis :(

this was a grade 1 event.

Banana Bowl Grade A is in two weeks where the big guns come out to play ;)
