She beat Hingis on clay when Martina was number 1 :) (was it Berlin 2000?)

She's long past her peak and not nearly as good or effective as she used to be. She was in a serious streak in '95 and was claimed by many to be the favorite to win the FO that year. Now that she is so old, she doesn't have the quickness, confidence.. well anything but experience and her moonballs used to be more effecitve I believe but still good enough to frustrate most of the field.

She is still playing well....no matter how erratic her results are.

Just like Kuznetsova was all of a sudden a "nobody" when Venus beats her.

You obviously misunderstood my statement, and that's probably because

a) English isn't your first language

b) you took it out of context

c) you only used half a quote

d) ALL OF THE ABOVE

e) She correctly just assumed you'll say something stupid.

Oh, someone accusing me of bad English :D I love when that happens. Thanks :D. So please enlighten me, what did you mean by your perfectly grammatically constructed sentence (obviously from a native English speaker, I should add)?

He was saying that when Vee beat Conchita people were still saying that Venus hadn't beat anyone of note. Was obvious to me.

No, DaForehand is saying that Conchita is NOT a nobody, but rather a great clay courter. Venus' haters are the ones who say Conchita is a "nobody".

Right. It is all very clear now. You are in fact very big fans of Conchita :D just like me. I truly never knew. That is great. You should drop more often by the Spanish Armada.

Outside of the 94 Wimbledon Final

I think the year she crushed ASV was the best I've ever seen her play. do you have that match on tape?

Too bad she's a tad lazy. She owns every shot in the book, or is that part of her problem?

That Conchita is a talented clay court player.
That has been established, until Venus beat her of course then people switched thier opinions.
