Well, she took a set off of her when Jenn was playing really great tennis last year in New Haven. She could do the same here.

I certainly expect Jenn to make it through to the semi's...

As do I. Anna has no chance... I think it'll be closer than todays match, maybe 7-5 6-3 Jen but, no win for Anna tommorow.

My first instict is to say no, that it won't happen.

But then I remember that match in New Haven (where Jennifer went on to win the title and make the SF in the US Open before losing barely to Justine). Jennifer was playing well and the match was on hardcourts. Now, the match is on clay and Jennifer hasn't been playing well all year (but then again, neither has Anna, so...), which totally changes things.

I think it's too close to call, but I still think that Jennifer will pull this one out. Jalla Anna! Prove me wrong!

As much as I respect APS, I've got a feeling that Jenn is on a serious roll now and she'll probably roll right over Anna! :lol: The answer is YES, Anna CAN win. But will she?! Me thinks not! ;)

I don't think so! she can make things harder for jen cause she has a game that can bore jen. jen loves when there is power, smashnova just puts the ball back a lot. her fitness compensates for her lack of power. she will force you to hit one or two more shots to win the point. but if jen is patient, i don't see how she can be upset by her. go jen :D

The biggest problem with Anna is that she seems to lack some confidence against top ten players as of late.

When she was winning a lot of matches in 2002 she had a lot of big wins but has not found that same magic even though she is doing alright in 2004.

Of course never say never, but Jennifer is really gonna have to have a bad day like she did against Daniliidou in Miami and last week against Amelie in Berlin.

The Suarez win was too good. The Capster does
everything 3 times better than Anna. I'd say something like
6-2, 6-3. The Capster into the semi's on Saturday.

Jen should win this match she is getting back to her usual play now and did great in Berlin.
