Is it really so bad???

For the first week of this injury, it's best to take all weight off of it. That's why she had to use crutches. I saw the sprain, and believe me, it probably be fine in about a week, week and a half. Venus will get the best treatment on it, and will probably be ready for the French.

BTW: Venus looks PISSED OFF!!

WTF! What kind of ceremony is this? It looks like an
absolute downer. It's just a too bad that everything ended so
anti-climatic when there were really good matches this week.

Sad to see the Berlin tournament end on a very bittersweet note.

Get well venus, All the best Amelie , those two girls have had it tough injury wise this year. Good to see both made the finals. I am sure Amelie totally understands what venus is going thru.

Momo looked very subdued during the ceremony, and by the looks of it, felt bad about Venus. I hope it's not too serious and she's able to play in Paris :)

where have i seen something like this before ? Ah well yes at AO 2002 just before her match against Daniela Hantuchova , Venus was walking on crutches and then later came out to play and win against the Slovakian in three sets . So i guess the "injury" isn't all that "serious" . She's done it before , she can do it again :tape:
