If Venus is not fatigued or not injured, it's hers for the taking.

Otherwise, it's anyone's game.

I was thinking the same thing. But I think Venus is healthy enough to withstand it. Going into tomorrow's final, she has only lost three sets in 10 matches and I really think her toughest match was way back against Samantha Reeves at Charleston.

Berlin has a tougher draw but I don't think that bothers Venus at all.

Well, she did have her thigh strapped, so....

Plus, this will be the fourth week Venus has played, and she surely is not used to playing for that long.

Hope Venus will hold up and not be tired, and hoping she will take this title :bounce:

I hope she stays healthy for Berlin b/c Venus said in her press conference that she wants to play against Top 10 players. Go Venus!!!

I duuno. In order of likelihood

Warsaw finals winner
Warsaw finals loser
Zvonareva
Clijsters
Mauresmo
Petrova
Capriati
Myskina
Dementieva

I think that if Zvonareva can keep up the intensity for the whole match against top players, she has a great chance of winning. Playing well for half a set and then losing focus isn't going to result in a victory. A little more self confidence and I think she can do it.

Go Patty!

We're still waiting for our insane win in a tier 1 ala "SWISSCOMM"
to happen this season. Could it be in Berlin? ;)

Venus I hope. We will have to wait to see how rusty Kim is in the first coulpe matches to know were she is at. I believe Amelie is not fully recovered and will be tough for er to get thru.

This will be the tournament where Venus cements her 2004 clay court season. Whether she wins this or not will be an awesome indicator of whether she'll win Roland Garros 2004.
