Anyone else thought Venus looked sad today?

Maybe that's just my impression, but I thought Venus looked somewhat down today. I don't know, she appeared to be sad today, no buzz around her, no smile. But she played a very good match! She is really coming back! :D

I haven 't see her (I don't have the Tennis Channel), but Venus rarely smiles.

I hope she's alright. I know she usually appears sad when she's injured.

I think the strapping was precautionary because if she were really injured, she would have pulled out of the Gernam Open, but her name is in the draw (not to say she won't pull out later, but I don't think she will). Or she might have pulled out of this tournament.

Some on VSFans.com went to Vee's QF match and had pictures, and she had her left thigh wrapped.

maybe she just doesnt wanna lose her concentration and just stay focus, maybe in her mind shes saying "im gonna win this match, im gonna win this match"
not smiling doesnt actually mean that shes sad... :)

VENUS & SERENA could easily be the Bulgie sisters as well. :eek: :lol:
