Which player hits the ball sheer flat off of both wings?

I can think of quite a few flat strokers..
Just to name a few: Amy Frazier, Kimiko Date, Naoko Sawamatsu, Mary Joe Fernandez, Dominique Monami.
Who else?

Let me add Julia Vakulenko.

I agree on Asagoe, Farina, Brandi but most of the others hit the ball with some spin not sheer flat. Capriati hits the ball flat but her swing rotation actually gives the ball some spin cuz she always has her weight left on the back foot.

Jelena Dokic, ED, Van Roost. Wind is the enemy of the flat shot maker! ;)

when i think of players who are known for their flat strokes the first names that come to my mind are Kimiko Date, Amy Frazier, Myskina, Monica Seles, Chanda, Natalie Dechy, Jennifer, Sharapova, and Lucic.

dokic is by far the flattest ground stroker on the wta-hardly any topspin on any of her shots at all and her serve, both first and second, is the flattest serve on the tour-which has both advantages and disadvantages.

tennisjunky

yeah, leaving Dokic off was a big mistake!

Don't you kind of get nervous watching Jelena play?
That ball carves the net by inches! ;)

The good thing for flat shot makers is that they are wicked
on grass! :)

I think right up there would be some Serena fans on caffiene with a Sports Illustrated in their hand ( now I'll earn some red squares)

No one actually hit with no spin I think :o Because there is accident sometimes :p
And I would say Dokic is one of the obvious example of flat stroker.

mmm... but clijsters mixes it up too. She often plays more spinn balls against players who don't like it. She different drom the players who only hit flat shots, IMHO :)

Clijsters and Sprem definitely don't hit flat! Sprem has that extreme topspin grip going on.

Elena Likhovtseva hits very flat.

Sprem plays very topspinny, but low over the net. It seems as her balls are played flat, but there' a lot of spin on it ;)

I would say many of the Russians hit their strokes flat. Dementieva, Kournikova, Myskina, are some prime examples.

Kournikova hits very flat. I remember Serena played her a few years ago and remarked about how flat her strokes were.
