We haven't done one on Amelie yet.
The case is stacked against her:
-injury problems
-mind problems
and worse
-not winning the first couple of tournaments after injury comeback problems

So, should Amelie retire?

And, Sonja, don't go on and delete this thread. This is supposed to be a weak attempt at sarcasm.

Obviously, because all players besides Williams are just there for filler.

Yes, since she's the only player to ever be injured and not win a major. :ras:

When you use sarcarm and have to point it out, it's pointless to use sarcarsm. Sarcasm is wasted on some, especially when a Williams fan uses it on this board.

i.e. Lina's response.

Sarcasm is the highest form of wit.

But not always.

But, that's the beauty of sarcasm, isn't it? Whether witty or not, it almost always paints hypocrisy and truth in stark contrast.

She seems to really want to play given that she cried when she had to retire at the AO. So she still has desire and great shots, why retire even if she would be a good guest on Dr. Phil?

If she can be ranked where she is with her injury record it sorta tells you something. If she can get over her FO problem and avoids a fit Kim I wouldn't be at all surprised to see her with a GS very soon.
