Here is my report!
The opening match (Sucha vs. Parra) was a moonball-party. Plenty of very long rallies with extremely high lobs...
In the beginning Parra was the one, who won her service games easier, and had a few breakpoints, but couldn't convert them.
Till 4-4 in the first they went with serve, then Sucha (who always was a little bit more aggressive) managed to break, and served out the set. The set was over an hour.
In the second Parra seemed she lost her confidence, Sucha was very relax and offensive from the baseline, and won the set about 25 minutes 6-0.
At this time the other match (Benesova vs. Vakulenko) stayed at one set all. I saw a few games from this. There were though rallies from both side, then Benesova got a break to go up 4-1. In this changeover Vakulenko asked for a medical time out (I was sure it was from tactical reasons, - but didn't help if we look to the scoreboad.)
I left the match ant went back to the Centre Court, because the Kapros - Stosur match was the upcoming one.
Kapros played super tennis after 0-1 she won five games in a row, hit really hard from the baseline, plenty of times wrong-footed Sam. Her first serve developed a lot, she scored some aces, there were 2 in a row in a game at deuce which was quite long.
In the 2nd set everything was the same, Stosur seemed more nervous, everything she tried - didn't helped.
After 50 minutes Anikó won 2 and 1.
After this match I looked the scoreboard on the other court Garbin was 5-4 up in the 1st set.
Then came Petra and she continued there where Anikó stopped, won the first 3 games (2 breaks) very quickly with hard deep shots. Then started to hit dropshots, she missed about 10 from 10, and the Austrian (who has a pierceing in her nose, I found it very disguasting... :retard: ) levelled back to 3-3.
Then Mandula left the dropshots alone, hit again the corners hard and won the set 6-4.
The second set was very simply, after 4-0 could Yvonne win a game, and that was all...
I walked back to the other court (I was waiting for the doubles match) and didn't believe my eyes, it was only 2-1 in the final set for Garbin. It was a very hard-fought match, long though rallies.
Garbin broke Mamic serve to 5-3, she served for the match but made a few silly errors (5-5). Mamic made the fight of her life, seemed very tired, but went further, kept fighting, she broke to 6-5, then served out the match, but the last game was also a big battle, so well done Mamic!! :bigclap:
Then I sat the uppermost place on the Centre Court terrace, from there I could have seen both courts. I was interested in both matches.
Németh/Szávay played really well and loose, hit hard from the baseline and made nice clever vollies at the net. In the second set they fought great when the was a little bit down in the middle phase, and won the tiebreak with excellent passing shots.
On the other court Gubacsi/Nagy started very well, did great things at the net, their passing shots and lobs were correct, the were in good mood too.
The second set Schwartz/Whoer managed to break and went up 4-1, our tems broke back, and had chances a few times at 4-5, unfortunatelly Kyra Nagy lost her serve...
In the final set Gubacsi got broken, so it was quickly 0-3, the Austrian/German team played accomplished in the final set, they didn't faced any break point, they won cruicial points at 30/30 at 3-1 and 4-2 on their own serve.
This was a shame that Zsófi and Kyra couldn't have won, but it was good to see Babsi Schwartz playing again and being healthy...

Then started to hit dropshots, she missed about 10 from 10
