I just realized the K-lina would be at a disadvantage getting a top 4 seeding

if she is seeded 17th-24th she will face someone seeded 9th-16th in the third round and then someone seeded 5th-8th in the fourth round. If she is seeded 16th she will face a top 4 seed in the 4rth round.

She has beaten Myriam before as well as both of her second round opponents (Lee-Waters and Vento-Kabchi) and her most likely third round opponent (Kuznetsova). the forth round would bring myskina, molik, or mandula (all very beatable) and the qf a rematch of the berlin semis with venus (i'm praying for k-lina to come out on top this time) unless kostanic takes venus out early ;)/:devil:

Life gets a lot tougher on the tennis tour when the expectations start to rise and you're defending instead of trying to climb up the ladder. It will be interesting to see how Sprem reacts to the pressure. I don't see her as a top 10 player ever, but hopefully she won't go the way of Bedanova, Hantuchova, etc.
