Elena said she played doubles with Lina because they wanna play the Olympics in doubles. They have done so well despite the fact that they have had 2-4 win-loss record in this year so far.

yeah i read that too, I think Saab said it in one of his articles in RR. I'm hoping the Russian Tennis Fed. will send them to Athens :D , but there are so many good Russian doubles so that's difficult.. :unsure: but i was curious about how they did it.. :D

As much as I love Elena, I don't think this team can make it. However, who knows...if they have done better than others, they may have a shot. But, IMO, Sveta and Lena L will make it.

WD Alyona! Wonderful match today, very solid tennis. She cut down the DF's. I really think her 2nd serve is a little much better than I last saw her, in Moscow SF, against Amelie.
