Ignite Sports will utilize its unsurpassed experience in digital sports media to create a destination for tennis fans, players and the media that is unrivaled. The site will utilize Ignite's SportsEditor publishing system that was developed specifically to meet the demands of sports organizations, and provides the Sanex WTA Tour with the tools necessary to easily manage their interactive needs. In addition to the new public site which debuts on February 20, 2002, areas of the site requiring credentials will be launched shortly so that players and the media can access critical tour information from anywhere they have access to the web.

"We feel that the Internet is a critical component of our communication with our fans and constituents," said Chris De Maria, Vice President of Communications for the Sanex WTA Tour. "The Sanex WTA Tour is global in its reach and popularity and as such we feel it is critical that our web presence be first rate. "The web is not only a place to leverage the power of fan affinity, but it is also emerging as a space for groups to bridge distance and time for members and affiliates through extranet applications."

As part of the relationship, Ignite will also implement its email marketing system, TeamConnect, and represent sponsorship opportunities on the site.
