I hope she didn't retire. If she did, well, then we have to wait 10 more years to see the next Neffa-de los Rios on court. :hearts: ;)

I remember reading an article several years back in which de los Rios indicated at the time of her comeback that she would like to play until she was 30, or until it was time for her daughter to begin school. Perhaps she has decided to hang it up. Traveling to 30 tournaments a year -- especially on the challenger circuit -- is quite a grind for someone with a baby and husband in tow. Still, I'd love to see her give it one more go. I've always rooted for her to do well. Surely her win over Seles in Madrid a few years back will go down as her best result. And she made quite a splash at the French Open a few years back!

If she comes back, she will have a lot of support now!

When she was 24, she said "I want to play for 5 years" now she is 28, so one year to go!

yeah i knew him. He is Victor Pecci
he made it to the final of roland garros in 1987 or somethin'. He coaches the paraguayan davis cup team (which recently d. Venezuela 4-1 in the QF). But how does he manage to coach 2 players at once?
