One for each year of her life:)
She is only the 20th person in WTA history to get 20 titles.

Not a great achievement without a slam. Come back when she has won a slam and i'll congratulate her.

Yeah....now if she had just one GS among those titles, it´d have been an acomplishment.

She´s really getting on Serena´s tail for career-titles, although quality-wise it ain´t even close.

How much tier III or tier IV tournaments are included?
I mean, if I start playing Luxemburg every year, I can also reach 20 titles.

Anyway, nice achievement, but still something missing...

You'd have to play it for 20 years.

Somehow, even if I believed you were a woman, and were able to beat the lower ranked women players, I doubt that you'd be able to do it for 20 years.

Yeah, they would give you a trophy for 'twenty years failing to take a set'. It is not because there isn't yet a GS on that list that is worthless and full of lower tournaments, there are somme pretty beautiful victories too.

And don't mess with Luxemburg:fiery:

Can't you read?

I said: "nice achievement, but something missing".

Is that a lie?? What do you prefer: 20 titles + 0 GS, or 10 titles + 1 GS. I would prefer the second thing!

Yes, I can read it perfectly. From what I understands it is like 'Yeah nice, but it is like almost all Tier III or IV's'. Which is not true actually and yeah we know the GS is missing  , some people just stay in the repeat button. And we were not discussing quantities and qualities just the fact that she won 20 titles in 20 years, one for each year. It is about the number thing, not the 'she is missing the GS thing'. It is not a lie that the GS is missing, I am aware of the fact but that is to me not the point here.

I mean 20 titles for 20 years, otherwise she would be tennising prematurely, sorry my mistake.

I can't decide who to side with... the people complaining that this hasn't remained a "Love Kim" zone, despite that fact that it was posted in GENERAL MESSAGES, or the people who are tooling aorund pointing out things that everybody in this thread already knows.

*sigh*

Is that a lie?? What do you prefer: 20 titles + 0 GS, or 10 titles + 1 GS. I would prefer the second thing! So would everybody but it’s time to stop rehashing the same old thing over and over again. Everybody knows a slam is missing from Kim’s resume. She knows it, her fans know it, her non-fans are obsessed with it. In the end, Kim will have the last laugh, because sooner or later, she will get her hands on that GS trophy. In the meantime, congrats to Kim for another impressive achievement !
