Are you kidding me Dario? Alexandra is incredibly consistent. Consistently awful :o

My vote goes to Patty Schnyder and Lisa Raymond. They've made a career out of one good result followed by an awful one, as evidenced by their follow up tournaments after the Australian Open.

Laura Granville and Anastasia Myskina are pretty streaky as well.

What about the time Mary Pierce won Hilton Head losing less than 12 games total, lost to Germana Di Natale in Madrid, won the French Open, then bombed out of Wimbledon?

No one even comes close to Alexandra Stevenson: I would how many thousands Nike is paying her because I'm sure her contract have a whole bunch of incentives..

I love Mary

That loss at Madrid was just to save her energy for RG, and her loss at Wimbledon was due to a shoulder injury. ;)

How is Alexandra being Inconsistent ?? She has been playing awfully for quite some time now, and I don't see how you can call her Inconsistent just because she has been known to play extremely well and the fact that these results have been upon us for quite some time, Good Luck to her but Her results speak, Her current play is not an inconsistency in relation to the preformances she has had, Her Current play is her consistency.

My Vote goes to Patty though!!

Elena D and Peppermint Patty.

Momo is not as consistent as a world # 3 should be, but she is more consistent than most. It's rare these days that she bombs out of a tournament before at least the quarter finals.

If you look at Patty's record since the beginning of '02, she really hasn't been inconsistent at all for the last two years. She's had very few losses to players that she *shouldn't* lose to, very few losses to players outside the Top 50.

A more interesting thread would be, who are the MOST consistent players. Think i'll go and start it now.
