I adore Kim. She's fantastic.

i like Justine for both her personality and game.I think game-wise she's the best player and has the most entertaining game.When it comes to the personality,Kim is nice and all but I like Justine better.Just like Gella Vandecaveye (one of the most respected sportswomen in Belgium):Justine doesn't change her personality just to be liked by the journalists,fans,...What you see is what you get.I really hate the fact that some people are acting as if she's the devil in person.But yeah,I guess everyone has their own opinion.

lol, a hell of a lot of people like watching Kim play, and she has a lot of energy in her press conferences. she's enthusiastic and friendly.

Well, the fact is that I just don't agree. I don't enjoy watching Kim play, even when Justine is beating her in Slam finals. I don't think she has a delightful personality either. All this thread was asking was opinions and I gave mine. Honestly, I think that Justine's personality comes in for a vast amount more bashing than Kim's anyway.

I think Kim has a better game, if she only learned how to change it up, or just hit hard against Justine.
But I was cheering for Justine in the final, she seems to want it more at this stage.
However, I ain't gonna like the 'hander' for a while.

I'm with Saki on this one.

Kim's game doesn't excite me (that doesn't mean I don't think she's any good - there is a difference between the two), and her PR personality does nothing for me either.

Justine may be painted as the devil, but who cares? She sure doesn't. And that's part of why I like her.

I like Justine. Her tennis is amazing and other worldly. It's stylish, flashy
and just dazzles the eye. The personality is complex. Kind of vain, yet
shy, full of swagger, yet awkward. Introverted-yet ready to show the world. Hard, yet sensitive.I like the contrast and it's really good to see a person who isn't ashamed of being smart. I dislike people who are afraid to act intelligent. She's a very cool and interesting person lacking any self pretensions, with a very sly sense of self deprecating humour to boot. :)

I love Justine's game, really a joy to watch. You never know what to expect. Kim's mighty impressive when she's on, but sometimes her game changes when she plays the other top players, too defensive. I'm not sure, but she played more aggressive tennis under Carl Maes imo.

About their personality I mostly agree with what Greenout said about Justine, I find her so interesting. She seems to have so many different layers, comes across as a really smart person, she won't change herself to please others. I really admire her determination

Kim is a really nice person, she always seems to have fun, is an optimist and likes kidding around. She's really down to earth, the kind of girl who's liked by everyone and who you'd really like to have as a friend.


Justine is the better player at the moment, while at the same time last year it was clearly Kim. Both players have room for improvement, I have no doubt Kim will overtake Justine again, probably withing a few months. And I expect them to switch positions like that their entire career. I think Justine will have more success (more GS) in the end simply cause she plans to have a longer career.

I'm Belgian and of course I Like Justine and Kim but my n°1 forever will be Martina Hingis, sowwy :D
