What's so special about it, it's probably not the first time a player won the first set to lose the next 2, and it will happen again aswell

What you don`t know is that the same day Sabatini beat Amanda 4-6 6-0 6-1.. at some point Gaby was 4-6 6-0 4-0 and the comment about the scoreline came up (Pam). Then Amanda scored a game :p

I guess a 3 setter with all bagels would be pretty weird. And in the ATP, a 5 setter with all TB's would, too (probably not that rare in 3 setters I guess).

I also noticed that every Olympic that Arantxa joined in, she keeps losing to the eventual champion:eek: Arantxa played in Seoul 88' losing in first round against Sabrina Goles from Yugoslavia 6/4 6/2...and that girl certainly didn't win the gold there ;)

I don't see how it is rude what I said, I just pointed out I thought it wasn't that special, it's not that I told him to f*ck off or anything

Maybe it's because people see rude behaviour in the smallest things people start fighting over the smallest things ;)

Sorry if I sounded harsh, I didn't mean it, but it's like the 100th thread of this type. It was just one too much for me!
Have fun on this board.

OK, but what about:

1) 3 set bagels (either tour, with the loser winning one of them)?

2) Triple bagels in the ATP (or 4 setters with one to the loser)?

3) All-breadstick versions of any of the above?

4) 5 set all TB matches in the ATP (or all TB's, then ovatime @ places like Wimby Where the 5th set can't be a TB)?

Is a breadstick 6-1? Arantxa beat Justine at Wimbledon one year 6-1, 1-6, 6-1.

i always wonder how a player can go so good whether winning or losing and then lose the way or pick it up

winning well say 6-0 then lose like 1-6 2-6 . . . is wierd aswell as losing 0-6 then 6-2 6-1

there was a match at adidas this year i think it was cargill vs dementiava where is was like 6-0 0-6 7-5

its mind bogglin how a 3rd set can be like that after loop sided first sets
