Mine is Krasnoroutskaya def. Clijsters en route to the finals in Toronto 2003.
It looked like Clijsters was going to breeze through, until Lina stormed back mid 2nd set. It was Kim's 1st loss in her 1st tournament as World #1.

Not that I've seen so many matches live... but I think I can pick Serena-Amelie in Rome's semi. Amelie won 1-6, 7-5, 6-3.
Serena started playing awesome tennis, and there was no way anyone could stop her. Then her level got down a few notches, while Amelie raised hers, and they put up a serious battle. They had me on the edge of my seat most of the time, the quality was pretty high, and they both fought so hard!! :)

Homewood bt Papadopolou 76(4) 46 64 in Edinburgh, mathc took 3 hours and finished at 9pm!!! twas rainind, windy adn pitch black!
Janes bt Paterson 62 36 75 in edinbugh, Karen got mauled in first set and was 1-3 down, then played amazing tennis to go up 5-2 in final set then choked, wasting 2 match poitns on ehr serve at 52 with silly errors.

For me it would also have to be that Amelie-Serena match. Funny to see we were both there that day

Venus def Linzi 6-2-2-6 6-1 Wimbledon
Paradorn def Hrbaty Wimbledon
Maria def Bovina 6-3 6-1 Wimbledon (the first time i saw Maria play, and it was live :) i love Elena, but Maria played out of her mind. Elena couldn't do a damn thing, apart from bitch about Maria to the umpire, and to her face *dead*)

the final between Justine & Kim at Rosmalen ! It was of such a high level, unfortunately Justine got injured, the doubles final at Rosmalen, won by Dementieva & Krasnoroutskaya against Petrova & Pierce was also great.

I saw Lindsay and Paola Suarez warm up at the US Open.

I guess that was the best, because then it started raining again and that's all the live tennis I saw!

Maria Kirilenko over Anca Barna in the second round of the US Open: 3-6, 7-6, 7-5. Some really long games and dramatic rallies near the end. Great atmosphere, too, as both players had their share of vocal supporters.
