Vera to serve at 7-5 2-6. I bet the vocal Aussie crowd is getting to Vera and she's probably 1 or 2 games from pulling the standard hissy fit out there.
Zvonereva and Pratt at 1 set apieceCoryAnnAvants#1 Jan 23rd, 2004, 12:48 AM Vera to serve at 7-5 2-6. I bet the vocal Aussie crowd is getting to Vera and she's probably 1 or 2 games from pulling the standard hissy fit out there. for-sure Jan 23rd, 2004, 12:50 AM I like both..but hope that Pratt wins...it will be great for the Aussie crowd LindsayRulez Jan 23rd, 2004, 12:53 AM This would be seemingly the biggest win of Pratt's career, no? Reaching the 4th round at your home grand slam is pretty big! LindsayRulez Jan 23rd, 2004, 12:56 AM Vera was up a break in the 3rd but she just gave it away, I think she's a ticking time bomb, watch out!! LindsayRulez Jan 23rd, 2004, 12:57 AM I stand corrected, she got to the 4th round here also last year, quite impressive! Foot_Fault Jan 23rd, 2004, 12:58 AM This is a good match, tbh, i hope Pratt can pull if off! she just broke! No, that was against Smashnova, *hingis_forever* Jan 23rd, 2004, 01:08 AM And it was 6-0, 5-1, 40-15 GoDominique Jan 23rd, 2004, 01:14 AM Easy win in the end for Vera. I guess she tanked at the end of set 2 and it worked. Andrew. Jan 23rd, 2004, 02:55 AM And it was 6-0, 5-1, 40-15 Yes, I saw that match. It was actually against Smashnova in New Haven 2003, Vera up 6-0 5-1 30-0 and just blew up. I mean, I think the girl broke about three raquets and broke a chair too. Rub Jan 23rd, 2004, 03:01 AM  vera  Epigone Jan 23rd, 2004, 03:32 AM As a fan of Vera, she is so stressful to watch :banghead:. Surprisingly, she didn't bust any racquets in this match. However, she looked like she couldn't care less about the match at the end of the second set. I thought that she was going to have another brain explosion, but she actually came out and blasted winners all over the court :yeah:. She really needs to carry a stressball in her bag :D | |
