In my opinion this is a match that could define both of these players' careers. Not so much for Tati since she is only 15 and she is barely on the scene. But Lina had her big breakthrough at RG 01 more than 2 years ago and then has done little since. She did get to the finals in Canada last summer but then lost 1R at USO :mad: :fiery: :mad: . Lina has the bigger weapons and should come through. Unless Lina has an off day (which is very possible :tape: :tape: ), I predict that she should win in 3 sets.

Anna Smashnova opened the way for Lina to Venus.
Doesn't matter Tatiana is really 2 years older than officially like many people said.
25.01.04 = 16+2?!

And the main thing: #354 is not enaugh to beat Lina today!

I don't think Smashnova would have beaten Lina anyway

Lina has struggled with some injures and stupid coaching (thanks to Nelaind)... I really expect more from her this year.

Lina should win. I have noticed that her play is more mature than it was used to be. She'll beat Golovin in straight sets.

BTW, who is coaching Golovin these days?

Great for Tatiana so far :), but I think Lina's experience will be the difference. I say Lina, probably in three.

Tati is playing well and has a great chance, and Lina isnt playing that well, but Lina may be too experienced for her.
