Schiavone was equal with Serena in service speeds last year in a match (110 mph) but today is not the day for her to break service records - according to the stats her serve today is either sick, injured or asleep. May be its the early start as she improved in the last 3 games........doubt if her serve improved that much though!

There must be something about Patty. 2 years ago she managed to volley on return against Amelie and last year she beat herself at one tournament 6-1 6-0. :worship:

WOW, 151mph :eek: thats even faster than Roddick's fastest serve so far at AO at 140mph. I don't think she can hit harder than him :confused: . I highly doubt it, must be something wrong with the site i think.

Some of those serves must almost be causing sonic booms. I mean, like, 900 kph... That's getting close to the speed of sound. I wonder whether anyone will break the sound barrier at the Oz. ;)
