Thanks for that TakeMeAway - much appreciated.
So they're giving Clijsters the extra day and Davenport and Blake the extra day they were hoping for.
I completely forgot James was doing Sydney until I saw him playing Ferriera in the first round and a possible 2nd round clash with Ferrero ;)
I'm hoping one of the matches above will be Tuesday night then I'll actually be able to watch it <g>
Jan 11th, 2004, 09:45 AM
pffffffff only 2 night matches
Jan 11th, 2004, 09:47 AM
what a waste of $15 lol for the night match
Jan 11th, 2004, 09:52 AM
It's always been tradition that there's only 2 night matches unless there was a wash out which has resulted in a backlog on matches.
The only remaining Aussie in the women's singles draw headlines the night - poor Cindy all the pressure will be her tomorrow night <g>

If Kim plays it won't be till Wednesday.
Jan 11th, 2004, 10:51 AM
3. Hewitt (7) vs Sargsian there female? :p
Jan 11th, 2004, 11:00 AM
If Kim plays it won't be till Wednesday.V. True
At this moment it looks like top half (women's singles) (1st rd matches) are playing Monday while bottom half (women's singles) and 2nd rd matches for top half being played on Tuesday.
Only dodgy thing is showers are predicted on both Tuesday and Wednesday - much like last year so they may be playing catch up tennis again.
Jan 11th, 2004, 11:23 AM
Oh gossipcom, I had no idea about that. I just knew Kim had talked to the WTA about it and got permission to start on Wednesday. But showers would be good for Kim start even later;)
Jan 11th, 2004, 11:39 AM
Yeah good thing is play later bad thing is having to play two matches in one day <g>
Jan 11th, 2004, 11:43 AM
Ooh hadn't thought of that, two matches in one day, bad:p Don't rain;)
Jan 11th, 2004, 11:44 AM
Which TV Channel does televize this tourney in Australia?
Where's the website of that?
Will coverage be already on Monday?
Jan 11th, 2004, 11:48 AM
tommystar are you talking about Australian or European coverage?
Not sure about internationally - Channel Seven for Australian coverage though.
I realised something just then and it cracks me up - the individual winners cheques at the Hopman Cup was almost on the same par as the AI <g>
Jan 11th, 2004, 11:54 AM
I'm inquiring about the Australian coverage, I asked a friend in Australia to record me the better matches.
I know Eurosport has coverage from Wednesday but only one match pro day, not so many.
Can you tell me the website of Channel Seven?
Jan 11th, 2004, 11:55 AM
