Given her recent showings at Fed Cup, esp. against Russia, how high do you think Mary will go in 2004? What will her major achievements in 2004 be? I think she'll make top 10 again.

Top 5

Atleast 5 Titles!

Nowhere if she doesn't drop weight.

As much as I am fond of Mary, I don't think that she will get past the top 15. She has shown that she is very streaky and she can do well one day and then bomb out the next.

I think that she definitely needs to work on fitness, which will then improve her confidence. At this point, I think that it'll be hard for her to get into the top 15.

Let's hope I am wrong.

Nowhere is she doesn't drop weight.

pff, Mary has been dropping weight throughout the year even though she has been consistently playing tourneys. The worst was at the Aussie Open and even Roland Garros when Mary looked the largest I had ever seen her. I began to see a lot of improvement starting from Wimbledon (where she never does that well in) where she got to the 4th round and Mary looked almost half the size fro mthe beginning of the year, at the US Open. Give the girl some more time. I bet she is working hard to regain full fitness during the offseason now, for next season.

well, i dont care how high she gets. i just want her to win a freaking title. and stay healthy. she obviously can las for a long time in a match, eg against myskina and vera, she just needs to work on keeping healthy consistantly.

She can reach top 10. But now I wish Her only to enjoy tennis and stay healthy. I hope She is going to win any title in 2004 becouse it would be proof that all the hard work pay off. Can't wait to see her next season.
:hearts: Love you Mary :hearts:
:bounce: GO GIRL :bounce:

I think Mary can reach top 15 if she can stay healthy. I have seen a few of her matches this year - some good some bad, but in all she has shown some good fighting qualities, which are important and showed she wants it :hearts:

So good luck Mary :D

I hope she can stay healthy for a full season. If she does I have no doubt that she can get back into the top 10, and at least the top 15. Top 5 might be too much to ask of her though.

Mary's fitness and conditioning has been a real issue over the past couple of years, but she's really been getting back into shape since she started working with Sven again after the French Open. Apparently she's lost 10kg and is still working hard so I don't think we'll be having any of the "Mary is fat" threads again at the start of next year!

At the Fed Cup she looked in really good shape and with another month to go before the start of the new season, I can only see this getting even better :bounce:

We'll have to wait and see how high she can get in the rankings, but if she stays healthy, has a good draw at the Australian and continues her Fed Cup form, anything could happen!!

I'd say she will be knocking on the door of the top 15 by March :D
