The reason why she won this easily, is that this was her first match on carpet - all the other have been in clay (which IMO is her worst surface).

I always liked Sadrine, glad she is giving it another run. She could do well... she has a very solid game.
I do not know how hard she has been working on her fitness and tennis, but I hope she has been putting in the hours.

One of her great matches was against Serena at the Australian Open 1999.
Serena was playing well, she beat Sandu 6-2 6-3 in the first round, and then Serna 6-1 6-3 in the second.
Then Sandrine beat Serena 6-2 2-6 9-7.

One of her best match was when she defeated Martina Hingis in Filderstadt! (she even said it was the best souvenir of her career)

um actually she has never beaten martina she has an awful record against her

i guess you are talking about her defeat of serena at Filderstadt in 1999 which was a great result considering serena had just won the US Open and the Grand Slam Cup beating venus for the first time there ;)

it was the second time ( after the AO ) that sandrine beat serena saving mp's :)
