I follow their butts.

The women are the real deal. The men are just sex objects to be ogled and admired like human trophies. ;)

I don't really follow too much, I'll watch it if it's on t.v. and there are a few players I like and don't mind watching, but I don't follow the tour anywhere close to the extent I do with the WTA. I've started to follow a bit more recently, but for the most part it's just the bigger events.

yes, and more than womens tennis because mens tennis is deeper, shows more talent and "game", and is more exciting and entertaining. And actually i love mens tennis because of my absolute 1# fave MARAT!!!, and cause of Pat, Goran, Andre, Thomas E, Roger, Magnus, Nico, Julien.

yah.. When Hingis was playing, I used to follow WTA a lot more because I adored her game and to see her play, but now I follow a lot more ATP tennis!

I follow both a lot, but I think I like the WTA a bit more. I follow all main tour tournaments for both, and all the WTA challengers, but only the main challengers for ATP, like the 50K and over.

Lendl, Mac, Nastasse, Borg......

I tend to follow women´s matches more, but I do follow men´s too. Whenever I can watch a match of Federer, Marat, I watch. Is there ANY question that when these two are right in their head, that NO ONE plays better tennis?!

Occasionally, usually only at the big events

Yes, more than the women's overall - although if I could only watch tennis on Eurosport, you can be damn sure I'd have to prefer WTA to ATP...

I like both equally :) Andre is my absolute fave....if I have to choose between Kim's first slam or an extra Andre-slam I choose for the second option :o
But fortunately..I don't have to make such choices ;) :D
I do think women's tennis is more interesting though....there are more pur sang topplayers...as for the men...everyone can beat everyone...which makes upsets less important and less shocking...which is..a pitty ;)

Nah...there are more terrific player's...ferrero on gravel, Andre on rebound ace....if they are at their best on these surfaces...they can beat anyone :)
Xavier Malisse has the potential too...he's really fantastic, soooooo much talent...but...he's the worst headcase on tour ;)

Yeah, I forgot about Xavier! Still can´t believe he hasn´t won a title.

The guy has so much talent....I´ve seen him hit some shots, my my....unbelievable!

I understand you so well  The same happenned to me, I liked ATP more, but Eurosport covarage of ATP tour was/is so poor, that I naturally fell in love with WTA (Thanks to JuJu :D )
I was lucky that I discovered Justine, now I don't mind ;)

I watch more ATP than WTA because that's what I'm able to get with basic cable. I like them both. But, I believe I like ATP better because everybody can beat everybody, which is the aspect of ATP that an earlier poster didn't like. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. :) I enjoy watching all of the top WTA players. So, I don't mind knowing that it always comes down to the usual suspects. When the TV allows, I really enjoy some of the lower ranked WTA players as well. So, ATP or WTA doesn't matter because both tours have properties I appreciate.

I prefer men's tennis to women's tennis, but I like both. I follow the men's tour in much more detail.

Borg got me interested in tennis, Lendl kept my interest. Since those two retired, I've lost a lot of interest.

And then Venus and Serena came along... and the rest is history.

I like women's tennis better....

when i started watching tennis years ago , Rios mostly....(I'm from chille)
men's tennis is all they would show on TV., at least down there... then I watched RG for the first time and i loved the women's game....

Unfortunally, in New York there's not a lot of tennis coverage:sad:.So i don't get to watch much tennis on tv.

tfannis and me think alike!though i prefer the women's game, i'd rather see andre win his 9th slam as oppossed to kim her first. well, maybe its equal. but the play i love the most , male AND female combined is ANDRE AGASSI!just love him t bits!not only is he a terrific baseliner, he plays some terrific points at the net as well.:inlove:

I follow the women's doings in more detail, week by week, but I do follow men's tennis and pay at least as much attention to the guys in the big events.

ATP has lots of good action and there is a great deal of merit to men's pro tennis.

But to me, WTA is the BEST pro tennis anywhere. Lots of excitement, shorter matches (time wise), greater emphasis on skill play rather than power play.
