Does anyone mind explaining how the dubs will work?

So is it round robin as well, meaning every team will play each other... :confused:

Since the doubles won't be on tv, and they don't draw fans, they're going to have to re-evaluate whether it's a good financial decision to have them.
But for the 8 players in L.A. for doubles, it's a nice payday.

That's very dumb and boring... They should be ashamed :o If they don't wanna do round robin, why don't they just take 8 teams and take it from the quarters, that would be a little better.

I agree, making it a 4 teams competition is stupid, it's not all about money!!! There are some teams that have been working hard all the year and deserved being there as Maggie and Huber :fiery:

Actually, I like the four-team draw. I've always thought the year-end championships should really showcase only the very best performers in a certain year. I think the ATP should have limited theirs to four teams, too!

Liezel must be in LA as reserve, cuz Pam said last night she was hitting with Ai (of course, Pam said Liezel Horn -- Liezel didn't get divorced, did she?)

I think it´s a very good possibility that Ai teams with Liezel 2004 as she did in the end of 2003.

Cara might team with Rennae permanently as does Elena L with Petrova.

Martina N is to team with Lisa R 2004 to qualify for the Olympics in Athens 2004.

Kuznetsowa might team with another Russian to overtake Elena L and Nadia Petrova.

and kim with maggie. you are funny. i think liezel nebver would have played with maggie if they she would not have finished her season. but seems that she is there to hit some balls. ahh, the semifinalsists get 214 pts.!!!!!! that´s a little mutch, isn´t it.
