ooops sorry bout that. I wondered why it wasn't listed on Tuesday's schedule.

Livescore website breaks the days according to GMT, so the evening matches in Philly and Quebec are listed under the next day.
For the same reason, Zvonareva v Raymond and 3 matches in Quebec are under October 29.

Thank you Alex...
I feared I would drop to 1-4 in PAW, but 2-3 is a lot better, and hopefully it would be 3-3 at the end of day 2... (if vera beat Lisa)
Too bad that Ashley lost the 3rd set TB... that was 17 pts loss...
IIRC, the last time I had a positive record after day 2 was in Moscow...

Wayne is
about an hour away from Philly.

Doesn't she live in Norristown now?? It's like 20mins away from Wayne...

Haverford College.... D3 school's there.

ptkten
Oct 29th, 2003, 12:42 AM
Wayne's only about 20 minutes or a half hour away from Philadelphia, which is where she grew up. It's about 5 minutes from Villanova, where the tournament is being held, so it's right in her backyard.

the lack of a scoreboard for the past two events is really pissing me off... these tournaments are suppoesd to be world renowed, yet they have such shitty websites

Mikey

Wayne is very close to Villanova, as someone said. Norristown is about 20-25 minutes away from Villanova.

Indoors and on fast surfaces, Lisa probably has the edge. Everywhere else, especially on clay, Vera has the edge.

Lisa is a good player that can be an upset artist at times. It's a great win for her, and I'm not surprised it went 3 sets, though I still am a little taken aback by the outcome ;)
