That's already 3 points for Evelyne! Top-4OO-ranking coming a bit closer again...

Not a bad idea trying to prove yourself a few weeks before the fedcup. She's 'reserve', does that mean she will replace another player when she plays better, or does she only play when another player is sick or injured?

If Kirsten beats Bammer she adds another 10 points (of which 2bp).
Hope Kirsten fares better than in their last encounter...
But losing to Bammer would be no shame of course: Bammer is playing her 4th 25K-final of the month (well, October, not November), she already won two.

Bammer (5) def. Flipkens (Q) 6-4 3-6 6-1 But what a week for her

Well it's a lot better than 2 weeks ago. I think those wins against top-200 and top-300-players and the close fight with Sharapova really boosted her confidence. I'll bet next time she faces Bammer, she'll win!

The next months should be great. Next week she's got 2.5 points to defend (she's not playing), and then up untill July 2004 she only has one point to defend (Antwerp 1st round). And she'll be playing her last Junior Tournament in two weeks. She's gonna hoover her way right up in the ranking.
