View Full Version : why is it "so quiet" in here ??

He Guys and Gurlz! :wavey:
I was just wondering,... this Justine-board is often very very oh yes, really verrry quiet. If you compare it to other boards ( e.g. a certain CCL  ) ... I think Justine deserves better !!
So, no more dull, 'I'm only posting once a week',... board, BUT a vibrant, Joyfull, and Happy Justine-fan-board where we can discuss about everything, especially Justine !! :D

Maybe it's a bit quiet cuz most of us don't know eachother too well . and we sometimes don't know what to talk about ?? Or maybe it's just because we Justine-fans (like idol, like fan) are just verrry modest people ;), people of only a few words, who say what they have to say, and only speak whan they have something to say... Well, as you guys noticed, I'm not one of those people :lick: I love talking A LOT and that's why I think this board needs more activity!!

Common, we should all make an effort and make this board full of life . :bounce:

Maybe we can start with introducing ourselves. Not our whole personal-life, of course, just maybe age, what we study, what our intersts (besides Ju ;) ) are,... ?
Who starts? I will, If nobody wants to, but I kinda have the feeling I said enough right now ;)

Amen

Allez, fans, wake up and start writing!!!!!

Tha 'advantage' CCL have is that there is someone like Hewitt ;)
And if they all write just as Kim speaks ... :o ;)
But yes it's rather quit in here but it isn't because I'm not posting

Well, maybe it is so quiet in here because the Justine fans have a life and Lleyki's don't :p There have been several tries to make this forum a bit more active, but yeah ... They failed. But if you look to Venus' or Serena's forum, it isn't all that different. This forum seems quiet because it is in the same section of the jolly CCL :fiery:

Now I will introduce myself:

I'm Catherine, friends call me Cat (like the animal, my fav pet besides rabits) and I don't like to be called Cathy. I don't like names ending with a -y. Bad memories to annoying, marginal people at elementary school :p
I'm 20 year and I'm in the third year of university (history). I have a boyfriend, Kristof (24), VERY cute & hot :hearts: My interests are tennis, history, mythology, shopping ... My favourite music is rock like Garbage, Blur, Muse, the White Stripes, Placebo ... and also lounge/DJ like Saint Germain and Buscemi.
And now my bad sides: I hate football (sorry evi) and I go beserk to unneccesary, repetitive noices (leaking robinets, extreme smacking & slurping, Monica Seles' grunts ;) )

Cathy

You hate football
You hate names ending on -y  (my name is evI  ) :p

But I do like history :D I wanted to be an archeologist but my parents didn't allowd me to do it

btw: Kim lives close to me but I live just not in Antwerp (provincie) so I'm not a real singer :D

Well, a cold comfort: your name ends on a -i. That's not the same as -y (like Linsy, Mandy, Tracey ...). I also have something against names like Bianca, Vanessa, Sabrina, Marina  ... I get cold shivers when I hear them. Especially when you speak those names with a Ghent accent (like Vah-neis-sah, Sah-brrrrie-nah ) :scared:

your bf has the perfect name Nemesis

Well, well ... euh ... why would my boyfriend have the perfect name :p I must admit, I didn't like the name at first :ras: But I learned to appreciate it. But I still like to call him Sto(otje), Kri(etje) or Stof(ke). Preferably Stofke.

Maybe it's so quiet because some of us are talking about Justine more on other forum? I usually do!

Anyway,
I'm Irina from Latvia, but my nationality is Russian :D I'm 21. I'm student at university, the forth year already :D I'm studying management & marketing. I like dancing, reading, listening to music, ATP tennis, watching Justine on TV ;)
I speak 3 languages : Russian, Latvian & English, and understand German pretty well :bounce:

I am ancient, 28 in old men term. I feel old around you guys. I finished university long time ago doing Business and Languages and went on to do a MBA but never had the motivation to finish it. May be one day.....I am doing some financial certs though that my company require me to do so that keeps me occupied! Of course I work in the financial sector....yawn yawn.

I am origianlly from SE Asian but lived in the UK for too long and consider here my home.

I am hoping to see Justine live sometime in the near future. Since Wimbly is too expensive/tickets are difficult to get hold of, so maybe attending a tier I/II tournement on the continents somewhere.

Hobbies are reading, playing badminton, jigsaw puzzle, watching tennis, travelling whenever I could afford it and shopping!

Oi, YOU, stop yawning, I could hear you!

Peace!

I LOVE jigsaws but finding time to do them is harder and harder. Maybe after I retire!

I have a set that's of Sistine Chapel ceiling. It's beautiful but it's far too big (5500 pieces) to do in my current apartment.

I know finance is boring but not as bad as accounting...hehehe..

The only reason I doing it it's so that Juju can paid less tax than other fans. April has been busy as usuall and also just before Christmas and at June but it will be over as soon as Winblendom arrives. :)

I cook all kinds of food things like Chicken in Soya Souce, Chinese Dumpings, (My Mum orginally from northern China) Stream Bread, my brother fav food is Chinese Roast Pork Bums :lick: it's a trandition really. My parents own a take away so food becomes extra important in our lifes. My especaility is really Italian food I'm the one who cooks the Pasta and trying new things such as Cous Cous whiles my parents perfers tranditional Chinese food.
