In qualifying we have Lauren breadmore who is playing top seed M.kirilenko and trudi musgruve playing A.nakamura

good luck to both girls

Im guessing this means that possible Nicole, Evie, Sam and Christain are in main draw???? or is the latter being optimistic . . .

Evie has a reasonable prospect of winnig this match if she can play a little bot more aggressively. She will have to try to dictate play a little bit more than she did at the Grand Slams this year. Her opponent likes to be aggressive and attack the net when given the opportunity. I think Evie's game plan should be to keep the ball deep and also try to outsteady her opponent.
Unfortunately, my tip is the Slovene: 6-4 6-2
She is playing doubles with Talaja

Wonder what happened to Nicole as she is not playing here.

Evie, it is not an unwinnable match, however depends on which Evie shows up for the match.

Good news so far is that Trudi won her first round of doubles with Abigail Spears.

Evie is out in both Singles and Doubles so I guess Trudi in doubles is our sole remaining female in this comp.
