Apparently, few teams (a total of 20 women) has some kind food poison. All these teams are staying in the same hotel.

The host of the tournament (the only team) is staying in another one and they are just fine.

In any way, Russia (who had 7 women with the food poison) lost to Turkey 0-3. I guess, upsets happen... who cares if it's a clear favouriteand #1 loses to #41 ranked team :rolleyes:

I remember the similar story in basketball in Greece few years ago, when Russian team who looked very good before that got poisoned, and had to play all match with 5 players only and one or two completely sick just sitting on the bench.

This is outrageous!!! Half of our team couldn't play, and the other half could barely move. And when did it happen? Before the match against Turkey, which of course we lost 0-3. Pathetic! :fiery:
