If she beats Mandula next, she'll probably play Sugiyama in the QF's and Zvonareva in the SF's....not the other way around.

However, jelena still isn't into the final that easily. She doesn't have a winning head-to-head against any of the 3 players mentioned, and has lost the last match played against them all. I know she's playing better know than earlier this year, but petra, ai and vera will all feel relatively confident knowing they HAVE beaten jelena before.....

Dokic is 0-1 against Mandula with Petra winning 3-6 6-4 6-4 at Roland Garros 2001.

Dokic is 1-1 against Sugiyama, with Ai winning the last match, this year at Antwerp 7-5 5-7 6-3

Dokic is 0-1 against Zvonareva with Vera winning 6-3 6-2 this year at Toronto

i dont think those stats mean much to jelena tho. if shes confident as she seems to be now, she dicates the outcomes ;) and is up 6-3 vs petra...go jelena

Jelena defeated Petra 6-3, 3-6, 6-3. :D A little hiccup after being 3-1 up in the second but I think Jelena did just enough. Play better in the quarterfinals Jelena! :yeah:
