even lindsay says this slam will be known more of the slam without the williamses than the actual slam winner.

its so true, but its funnie how fans of all the other players feel differently. but again, all the players seem to disagree w/ u all.

Just like the French 93 - Wimbledon 95 were the ones w/out Seles.

It happens.

You can't know this yet.

If there is a fantastic final and people get the feeling that there has been a deserving winner, then she will be remembered as legitimate.

Lindsay knows she has no chane with her bad feet, so it's easy for her to say that. I doubt Kim, Justine, Jen or Amelie would feel the same way.

lindsay- who many consider one of the nicest players likes to be very passive aggressive and degrading to some players at times. then at other times she can give too much credit to ppl, it really seems to depend on her mood. i agree with malin, she only says this because she STILL has no chance...

btw, there are like 50 threads on this already.
the person's name will go on the trophy without an asterisk, whether you like it or not. everyone has injuries and often, top players are forced out of the slams...

I think it's their fault and they shoulda entered regardless. I mean, many players are playing with injuiries here and there. that's called professional. of course it depends on how serious the injury is. but withdrawing with a minor injury in fear of not winning is a cowardy act. I'm not talking just about the Williames.
I think they shoulda entered and everyone would ve been happy. Especially the starter of thread knows nothing about the comeptition. All this fucktard wants to do is tennis is nothing without the sistaz. The sistaz ain't bigger than tennis. A lot of ppl watch tennis whether they are playing or not. I personally don't think this is gonna to be remembered as a Williams-less slam. It will be remmebere that way only by fanatic Williams worshippers like the starter of this retarded thread.
