In Britain most newspapers are very biased usually leaning well to the right, but our TV stations by large occupy the centre ground (maybe leaning a little one way or another), though politicans frequently accuse the BBC of leaning in a particular direction, its usually without foundation.
Likewise, over the year Ive seen chunks of coverage by a few American Networks, and again like their British counterparts, they seem to hover somewhere around the centre.
But I saw Fox News recently and was amazed. REALLY right wing, full of opinion pieces disguised as news. Any number of times I wanted to throw stuff at the screen. Maybe its Murdoch's influence...though his Sky News in Britian is more moderate...his tabloid papers here like The Sun and The News of the World are very much from the Fox News school of dubious right wing comment.
Murdoch seems to own half the world, and no one does anything about him, because of fear of his array of media outlets.
