Wow didn't know that either where did you find that?
Yes we have orphanages in Belgium, but don't know much about them, ...

Aww, that's so sweet! Why not in Toronto, the crowd gave her a fabulous reception. There orphans all around the world you know, and it is not a rule to only give to people from your own country.

I heard that justine is doing these kind of things often, she even got rewarded by the WTA of it ...

An orphan is an orphan whether that unlucky kid lives in Timbuktou or Belgium; or am I missing something???

The award was giving to her because of the donations she often gives to the 'Make a wish' -foundation :)

Hey, Serena and Venus would do the same thing!
Except replace "orphanage" with "own wardrobe", lol.

justine lost her mother at a young age, and her father was practically non-existant

i think she knows how it's like to be an orphan and so feels very strongly for them

This is one of the (many) reasons I like Justine. She doesn't publicise her charity work. She's not out to get a nice-girl reputation with the media but just does it because she wants to.

She didn't want any present for her marriage, so she asked people to give money to "make a wish foundation" instead. That's the reason she was rewarded by the WTA.

Oh.. so sweet.. today.. Henin because my #3 favoriate player.. I will never go against her, except when she's playing the current and former wimbledon Queens. Go Justine... but then again, all this charity could be for a tax break.

Why does anyone take anything CKB says at face value?

I totally agree! It's also so sweet that Justine does it on the quiet side - now that's a true champion!

Excuse me for being skeptical but I don't think Justine is capable of such a gesture. I, for one, would like to see a link to the source of this info and to be proven wrong.

Why does anyone take anything CKB says at face value?

well, in this particular case it was because i posted something that people wanted to hear, and yeah, i made it up, there was no donation to any orphanage

i know i said i've retired from trolling, but that was elaborate trolls, this wasn't elaborate :) it was done on the spur of the moment and all it took was one hastily written thread title (i even changed it half way through writing it from "kids hospital" to "orphanage"- that's why it reads "a" ophanage instead of "an") and that was enough to have some of the tennis tards falling over themselves with declarations of what a wonderful person Juju is blah blah blah

this particular orphanage troll is no different to what those assholes who work for the WTA get up to. And this is a prime example of the kind of power they have over the majority of tennis tards

my elaborate Anna/Seles/O'Reilly/blah trolls were tough to pull off coz people didn't wanna believe them, so they looked for reasons for it not to be true and eventually the troll gets busted. But with the WTA, their trolls don't get busted coz the obsessive-compulsives wanna believe them and the WTA know this. Furthermore they have the co-operation of the players and certain media as well as their web site at their disposal. With those kind of resources, a troll becomes TROOF! even when it isn't

personally i think the WTA are doing it wrong, they're trying to promote the sport with all these "nice gurl trolls" (the worst recent example was the smiling pic of Dokic and Schett and the caption "best friends" even thou Bernaldi fucked n chucked Schitt for Dokic) and the recent "get in touch with yuor feminine side" bullshit. They'd be better off dropping that shit and playing up every bit of bitchy behavior, controversy and tittle-tattle. That's what i would do if i was working for the WTA. I'd be writing headlines on wtatour.com that read something like "Davenport bitch slaps Dokic in 45 minutes", "Bernaldi dumps Dokic!", "Anna to play exhibition in Thailand in spite of *inoperable* back condition" and so on and so forth. That kind of approach would get the general public interested in tennis again. People didn't watch McEnroe vs Connors to see nice personalities playing good tennis, they were watching in the hope that one of them would lose it and launch into a outraged tirade at their opponent/umpire/linesman/blah. Same goes for Riggs vs BJK. Millions tuned in to watch that match and they weren't interested in watching a female champion playing a game of tennis against an aging male pro. They wanted to see the staunch feminist and suspected lesbian (at the time) lay the smack down on the self-confessed male chauvinist pig (or vice versa). I'm telling ya, if i was running the WTA troll machine, i'd turn that baby around and i'll soon have wimmins' tennis enjoying the kind of ratings and corporate money that baseball and basketball attract and that's no fucking troll!

I think they gave you that negative rep based on your comment that Justine is incapable of such a gesture while she has and still is involved in charity and has donated money in the past.

Yeah, may be that is it too. But, it doesn't matter - I gave them positive rep b/c I am generous (just like justine).
