What the fuck is your problem? Who said anything about race in this post? BTW, Venus came back from any injury to win Wimbeldon in 2000, so it isn't like she can't do it.

you don't have to say anything about race.....it's quite obvious in MOST (not all) of the sister's fans that all they care about is the sister's skin color and that's why they like them and for that reason only, and if you believe anything other then that, you're deluded

What´s the problem?! If Venus is healthy she´s a 90 % chance of winning the Open...no need for match practice. Who´s gonna beat a healthy Venus on hardcourts?! I am a Williams fan and I will speak for myself. I like them becasue they are good, but if their sucess pisses you off, that's even more of a reason to like them.

Venus has come back numerous times from injury and with little or no preparation to win a tournament. So let's not count out her yet and a possiblility of an all Belgian final :kiss:

Anyways, i have not expectations from Venus, but may i remind you that she did make the Australian Open finals without dropping a single set(including a straight set win over Justine) after not playing a warm up tournament

Whats wroung with saying that venus can win the us open? she only won the damn thing 2 times out of the last 3 years and made the final the other time, has lost in grandslam to only to seles/serena/zvenreva in the last 2 years (seles and serena won't be playing!)....Like i said remove whatever's bugging... :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

I'm not black, I'm not a Venus fan, but it's just obvious to me that Venus has the ability to come straight back after an injury and win a major title. She's done it before, she may very well do it again.

Serena and Venus have proved numerous times they don't need to play tournaments before a slam to be ready.

I truly think that clay is the only surface in which the time you play in warmup events matters as to how you are gonna do in Grand slams. Serena didnt play Sydney, but won in Austrailia (Jennifer Caps in the previous two years did horrible at the same tournement, but won Austraila)

Serena nor Venus played squat on grass but won their two Wimbeldon titles

Serena didnt win a hardcourt warmup event, but won the US Open last year.

Wasn't she injured not long before she won her first GS?? What you have to understand about the sisters is that they try and make sure to take extra time to recover from their injuries so theat when they come back they will be able to pick up where they left off. Do you ever remember hearing the sisters having difficulty coming back from an injury besides this year at the French with Venus' stomach?? And even then she came back three weeks later and made the final of Wimbledon. The sisters keep their injuries under wraps to keep everyone guessing. They don't want to say they are going to play and then dropout, and they aren't going to let the world know that they are ready to play until they show up for the tournament. And you can keep that black stuff to yourself because like someone said earlier, no one said anything about her being black.
